Turkey season finally opens. WAHOO

OK what is the best call to use in the morning. Hen Yelp to get a gobbler to know where a hen is or a tree call. A bunch of differen't places says one or the other. What should I do when I get a gobbler close where he can see me greatest and can't use my friction call cause I won't be able to move. WIll he leave cause I stopped calling. I havn't really learned how to use one of them mouth calls yet. All I know how to do is like cluck cluck cluck or something like that, I don't really know. What would the farthest that u think that I could shoot with my 12 gaught mossberg 500a. I am using 3 inch magniums 6 shot. I practice from around 30 yards and I put about ~10 pellets in the kill zone parts on a turkey Practice sheet. Where I hunt there is a creek about 10-20 feet at the most where turkey's cross(I think) Could I shoot across the Creek to the Turkey.
