My friend and i recently built a 6ft by 6ft target/backstop. we built a wood frame with treated lumber and then used 4 6'X12' carpet remanants that we got from someone who redid thier carpet. you get 8 layers of carpet to shoot through and not once have we had an arrow go into all 8. you can also spray paint any target you want onto the carpet or tack up a paper target. it also works ok for broadheads and it also makes a great 3D backstop
