I have the model 4 wich is somewhere bettween the 742 and the 7400. I use lock washers on the forarm screws and shoot a consistant 1.2" groups. Keep the chamber clean it wont jam. It will shoot my reloaded 130 sp at 3100fps and my 180 gr but not the 220 gr bullets. I have had no jam with any factory ammo. I don't know what all the fuss is. Like I said just keep it clean.
