ok, now scientifically, how is slower burning powder going to reduce recoil? You got a mass going out of the barrel at a certain velocity.
Please explain why the Magnum cals use a slower burning powder anyway. I know it has something to do with the size of the case and all but not sure how it works vs a 308 or 30-06 use a faster powder. Does the short mag use a slow or fast powder. I have a book but it isn't handy right now and I have never looked it up.
