Own MQ1 @ 60lbs/80% letoff with 29" draw, 1" overdraw shooting 27" carbon arrow, 100 grain field tips. Last night shot new Cybertec 80% letoff and Q2 70% letoff both at 60lbs and 29" draw shooting prongs with no overdraw and 29" arrows. The MQ1 and Q2 both shot 257fps whereas the Cybertec was at 266fps.

My initial thought after shooting is that I like the Cybertec best because I felt it did fit me better, I like the 80% letoff, it pulled back easier and was smoother (all my opinion) and felt faster. The Q2 seemed very slow but was somewhat of a sleeper.

After shooting all three, my initial thought is that all of this is not significant enough to replace my MQ1 this year. Dealer and I both agree that my MQ1 can be quieted down with string leeches and there is still some speed to be found.

I am thinking of replacing my overdraw with the Trophy Taker drop away rest. If I do that then I would be shooting 29" carbon arrows. My concern is how much speed I would lose with my MQ1 going to a 29" arrow. I didn't think of shooting a 29" arrow through my MQ1 last night. Might stop by dealer tonight and try.

Cost of the bows at dealer were $689 for Q2 and $629 for Cybertec. Dealer said that prices aren't firm and will work a deal.

Have you had experience shooting different arrow length and what was the speed difference? Also, isn't a longer arrow going to be more efficient with more power when hitting "target". Also, does a longer arrow at these speeds play into anything as to full passthrough or not?

Any info or advice is greatly appreciated.
