I like my .308.......and I like my 30-06. Thing is that I have loaded 220 gr bullets in the 30-06 and they shoot fine. You cant do that with the .308. I have even loaded 130 gr bullets in the 30-06 and have found a hot accurate load. So I give the edge to the 06.
