Default RE: hoyt cam 1/2

I have been a PSE shooter for several years. I bought my last bow in 1997. I decided it was time to treat myself to a new bow. I figured I would get a Mathew's or a Bowtech, but wasn't really sure. I decided to shoot as many bows as the local proshop had to offer. I shot Mathew's, Bowtech, Kodiak, and Hoyt. The Outback was smooth, but to short for my liking (30.5" draw). The LX was nice but had more hand shock than the Outback. The Bowtech's felt top heavy to me. The Kodiak...not for me.

the Hoyts really stood out. I went with the Xtec, and I am in love with it. The Xtec was as smooth, if not smoother than the Outback and speeds very close to the LX. No hand shock and very quiet. If I were in your shoes, I would shoot as many bows as possible. Don't worry what signature is on the limbs, just get the one that feels best for you.
