I would not hesitate to lay out the money for the Aetec or the Bushnell. I have a couple VX-l and Rifleman csopes from Leupold and a M8 4X33. I kind of hate to get more than 200 bucks into a scope because I have had perfect performance from scope costing half that price. I might save up some money and get a new Shepard scope. That range finder Shepard scopes works like you wouldn't believe.
