for the money I'd go simmons. Simmons has some real gunk out there. The cheapo stuff anyway but the aeteck and their whitetail series are very good for the money. I bought a refurbished 6x18x42mm with target knobs made for an air rifle. It was advertised fogproof, waterproof and shock proof. So I put it to the test. I put it on my 7rem mag. 1000 rounds later it is working very well. Oh yeah it was $100.
