I have a new VX-II 3x9x40mm on my muzzleloader. It is an extremely nice scope, nearly as good as the VX-III's. So much so that the average hunter will never notice the difference. I would spend the extra hundred bucks and get the Leupold. They hold their value well plus the warranty can't be beat!
