This could be a great opportunity to learn from a pro shop. Like others have stated, buy the bow and take it to a pro shop to have them set it up for you.

But instead of just dropping the bow off, ask to schedule a time when you can be present and learn as much as you can.

Use this website as a tool as well. I've learned a great deal just from reading and asking questions here.
