RE: Bow press
I have a Bowmaster (my second one) and an Apple hydraulic. I use the Bowmaster ost of the time simply because I'm usually at the club shooting outdoors when I'm tinkering. It does work rather well for it's simplicity. It's easier to use if you get the split-limb adaptors. They will work on solid or split limbs. Total cost for one of these with the adaptors should be about $50 which is a lot better than $300 or so for a good permanent press.
