Sounds like you know what you want, and it's a good choice. I especially like your scope and caliber choices. Both should be great for your kind of hunting.

You might look at some of the other rifles available to you and you could save some money. Howa is one. Savage is another. I had a bad experience with Remington and will probably never own another, but 99% of them are good guns. But you know how it goes, once burned.......

Anyway, good luck with your choice, and especially good luck selling the 710. Whoever buys it, don't give them your home address or phone number!!!
