This is the bull I shot last year and never found. This year when I was there, I was walking a drive and saw a horn sticking up out of a creek near where I shot last year. It was alot drier in Colorado this last year than the one previous so I think the elk fell in the water and died and when the creek was high, and when I got there the next year. The creek was low adn I could see him. I walked all along that creek and area looking for him last year to no avail. Well as you can see I dug him out of the creek and tacked him up on the side of our camphouse. I was heartbroken over not finding that bull last year , but I feel much better now.
