Acceptable option. However, there would be no handicap-related conditions granted.
A compound shooter would not have a
huge advantage over a recurve or longbow when in the hands of a skilled stick and string shooter/hunter. The primary differences would be that the recurve/longbow user would know to be in a position that would provide a closer shot (0-25 yards), and he or she would have to be adept at post-hit tracking when a minimal blood trail might exist.
Then too, most recurve/longbow hunters of the past and present already had/have this knowledge and skills.
As for this statement;
