RE: The Best Mechanical
Which is best is not always what it seems. Everyones setup is differnt, and not all heads are made to work the same way. That said, In all of my testing, the very best mechanical broadhead I have found is the Rocky Snyper. It flys great, the blades are shaving sharp from the factory, penitration is excellent, and It is one of the fastest opening heads going. I have tested around 30 broadheads, and the snypers are the best mechanical in my personal opinion. I also know of a pretty nice buck, that wishes they were never made! My next choice would be the new archery products shockwave, followed by the rocket steel head. My biggest problem with rocket heads is that their blades will not shave hair out of the package. Remember that even with mechanicals you still need to tune your bow well, and you should not shoot any mechanical head unless you have at least 55 ft/lbs of bow energy.
