I would definitely use a fixed blade for bear, the very few reliable reports I've heard of failures were on large fall bears.
I don't know which is the best, but I know if you hit a deer properly with a shockwave, they'll go less than 60yds.
I plan on trying the snyper this upcoming year, as they seem to perform the best in penetration tests, outperforming fixed blade heads in most cases.
