Yep, pre stages of target panic
Sounds right
I've never had the freeze-ups, but I've had my share of problems with another form of TP called snap shooting.
This is the next level , you dont want to go there
Try moving closer to the target and getting use to shooting the proper style again.
Good advise , look for "blank bale" shooting allso as this may help , whatever you do , stop what you are doing now and try these exersizes . I would not go directly to backtention right now as this opens a whole nother can o worms , get to where you are shooting as good as before this started and then try it if you want to .
Could it be something other then TP? I have had the same symptoms. Coming up on the target my pin freezes at the bottom. I thought it might be to much pressure on the top limb. I backed out my bottom limb a 1/4 turn at a time and bingo after a 1/2 turn it now holds steadier with no freeze. It seems most of the bows I've own all shoot better with a 1/8 to 3/16 difference in tiller. Just a thought. Jerry
This is great advise allso , and I might add that some weight in the back risor hole may help , or reducing the weight you have up front , that was a major help to me .
