Good post. Thanks. That's similar to how I do it but with a couple differences. I use Borax instead of salt. and it only takes a couple weeks, three max, to dry. If you pull the beard out instead of cutting it you get only skin and no meat. (Only do this if it is a one bearder. Cut them out if it is multiple bearded.) On the bug spray, I use permanone. This keeps the feather eatin' critters at bay.
