I like wrist strap releases, but not all straps are good. It's important for me that the strap not tighten shot to shot. SOme of them are OK for the first shot, but you either have to push them back with every shot, or suffer further constriction. I find the scott straps are good, and some of the tru.

Not sure what wrist problem you have, but you still have to pull the release with your wrist if you use a t-handle, there isn't any by-pass.
