Muzzleloading can be a lot of fun and getting the right rifle for you is part of it. There are 3 basic types, flint, percussion, and in-line. PA has a late deer flint season and it can be a lot of fun getting use to the flint ignition. I have a Traditions deerhunter flint 50 cal and a CVA Firebolt in-line 50 cal, and I love both guns. I have killed 4 does with the flint and 1 with the in-line. I also has other rifiles, 30-06 22's, and a shot gun, but I always spend more time at the range shooting both ML rifles. Working up the right bullet, and best loads. I always love the look on peoples faces when you can hit the target at 100 yards with a flint and open sights, plus the smoke, wow what a treat.
