I don't know much about the cobra but can comment on the truball. That particular model is my #1 hunting release. I also shoot the king george which is my favorite release, but that one is too noisy for hunting. Pro Diamond is perfect for hunting. I still maintain pressure on the pinky and thumb when releasing and it works just fine. I am currently using a talon with a rope loop on my string. But I also own a double ball head, which can be interchanged on the either the prodiamond or king george. I usually hunt from a stand, so I leave my release clipped to the loop at all times.
