The reason I am against mechanical broadheads is this. Anyone who says that penetration of a mechanical broadhead is equal to a fixed blade is wrong.
I have a Muzzy and a Steelhead that would beg to differ....
Welcome to the forums. Back away from the keyboard...take a deep breath and relax. You are coming probably not the way you intend to.
I shoot a well-tuned bow at 70 lbs and I have no problem getting 2 inch cutting diameter expandables to blow through deer and into the dirt on the other side.
I agree that a well tuned bow is essential to shoot any head but shot placement is equally as important.
