I was thirteen years old(last year) and killed my first buck, I used a Browning A-boltII stainless stalker w/boss system(.260 rem.) That my dad bought me,topped with a 3x9x50mm Redfield.- It drives tacks!!! The buck started out at about 200 yards running dead away, my dad whistled and he slowed from the muley bounce to a trot, my dad was calling out the yardage to me as I tried to find him in the scope. I got him dialed in at 285 yards and squeezed it off. I have never been so excited in my life than when I saw him tumble down the Nevada hillside. I used Nitrex shells with 140gr. grand slams, the buck measured 26 inches wide and 18 inches tall,(4x4) He's at the taxidermist now and I can not wait untill I get him back. Not bad for my first deer. THANKS DAD
