WFL,
How do you like your Sley Longbow ?
I have one of Pat's 68" recurves and love it. Pat said, his Longbows were revamped and improved and are not on his website yet.
Is yours a one piece or a take-down ? What type of handle does your bow have ?
Sorry to bug you with all the questions, but since you own one...lol.

Sag.,
I'm still new to this site and don't know how to post Pic's, so any help would be great.
My Sley is a one-piece longbow. 60" long and 54#'s @ 24". It has 3 lams. of bamboo. Tonkin cane on the back, japanese bamboo in the center, and heat temperd on the belly. I am not sure what the riser is ,but it has alot of grain to it. There is also a red strip thru it. The handle is a copy of another bow handle of mine. Very small with a little palm swell. The workmanship of this bow is amazing ! This bow has ZERO handshock.
It is shooting a 8.7 grain per # arrow at 182 fps.
All that being said let me tell you about the way I shoot it. Let me tell you that I have a 24" drawlength and up until I shot this bow the fastest thing I had shot was 153 fps. When I talked with Pat He told my to give him a while and he would come up with something that would be faster. About a week later he called and said he had found something that worked. He was not joking !!!
I have spent these last couple of weeks learning to shoot agian. Just about everything is a foot high, but I like it! Another couple of weeks and I'll have it!!
BTW my poor shooting is all Me. This Bow IS AWESOME!!!!
Bill
P.S. Somebody help me with the picture thing !
