i've been looking at o/u's for about 6 months now, i have not shot any of them yet but the beretta silver pigeon (20 gauge 26 in barrel) is the gun i feel most comfortable with, also the fit and finish on the berettas is very good, better than similar models in the same price range (about $1600).

i have looked at browning, verona, franchi, charles daily, ruger,

franchi had the worst fit and finish

browning and ruger also seem to be well made

verona is a well put together gun for a lot less money about $8-900.00
