Bowfanatic- I know I have a terrible case of target panic. It got really bad when my release first started hanging up. Probably around 4-5 months ago. I started shooting again at the beginning of the month (3-d).
On my 3rd and final shot I got within 5ft. of the target and focused on just squeezing the trigger, making sure I had no torque or panic in my hand. It still hung up. You could be right about it not being the release and it being me. All I know for sure is, I am scared to shoot my bow right now.

PS. PSE Carbon Extreme 300's are tough. I used the same arrow for both shots on wood and it is still straight and ready to go.
