Planting/Introducing cover
Hey guys, hoping you could help me out here. I along with a couple other family members just bought about 470 acres. About 170 acres of thick 5 year old pine and the rest in food plots and hardwoods. Some of the hardwoods are fairly open with little ground cover. Is there anything you plant in the hardwoods that will provide cover for deer. I'm hoping to thicken up the woods the so the deer will feel more comfortable traveling through them during daylight hours. Any suggestions. I talking about 10 acres or so to thicken up.
