RE: big bucks and spincast feeders
Last year Iwas walking back from Ground blind an spotted a 160-170 class buck feeding slowly thru a field that had a few Mesquite trees in it watched him for about 30 minutes he fed to within 30 yards of me. I went to full draw but as luck has it He stepped behind a mountain juniper that was just large enough to cover his vitals.he just turned and walked away in the oposite direction. The next day I looked at where he was standing. He was about 70 yards from my feeder but he had a good look at it from where he turned around. He was just checking for Doe's and had no intentions of going to the feeder. And as I always say, a Whitetail buck is luckier than they are smart.
