RE: Shot me one of them new fangled Paytreeuts!
I feel that the grip is an issue that can't be fixed. That's what separates a lot of different bow brands. All bow companies have their own style/design some like it some don't. I do a lot of shows with the BowTech line and believe me there are a lot more people that really like them compared to those who don't. I used to work at a rather large pro shop that sold nine bow lines, people would ask me constantly whats the best bow you have and my reply would always be, the one that feels best in your hand is where you start. So I guess my question is how do you make a grip that EVERYBODY likes? Is it possible? Personally I shoot without my grip because I like the feel of the bare riser vs. the factory grip but I really don't think the design is all that bad that I feel they should change it. With my grip on my 29" Pro 38 my draw length is 28 7/8" and without the grip it draws 29 1/8". It's been almost a year since I took these measurments and I believe they are correct.
