While I didn't get to shoot the Patriot, I did get to draw one a couple of times. I was VERY impressed with the construction and finish of the bow. But I concur with JeffB, the grip is the pits - it reminded me of those horrible old Mathews grips. One can only hope that Bowtech will listen to the complaints and put on a narrower grip (Hoyt's grip is perfect, IMHO). For what Bowtech's bows cost, you shouldn't have to pay for a custom grip as well.

Bowtech Shooter - how much does the brace height on the 2002 Pro riser bows change when you remove the grip and shoot off of the bare riser? Would it affect the draw length you would need?
