Finally got to shoot one of these bad boys...(I'm still waiting for mine).
This was a 3D Target color bow w/ nothing on the string except for a peep and tie on nock. 29" module w/ Infinity cam ,70 Lbs at what felt like 75% to 80% letoff.
First off, the limb angle is definitely more "severe" than an a Mathews Q style. even at brace it has more angle than my Q2 at full draw. The riser is beefy... I love it..good mass weight, it's not a willow branch definitely near or above the 4.25 Lb stated mass weight. It balanced quite well w/ a medium length and weight stab. The grip is a bit fatter and deeper than the "Standard" BT grips.. I personally didn't care for it as much as the grip on my MM, but Loesch can get some business from me.
I shot the bow and immediately thought: Crap, did this thing go off? my next thought was "this thing doesn't seem very fast"...So I told the guy, he smiled and then he shot it through the chrono..307 FPS w/ a IBO legal ACC 3-39.
The bow is a wolf in sheep's clothing. You really don't realize you are shooting a 300+ FPS bow..Amazing...It's almost totally dead in your hand.
I'm probably going to have to sell my MM, but as much as I love it, I don't think I'm going to miss it much when I get the Patriot.
Bowtech is going to be selling the piss out of these things when they get them in the hands of the masses.
