my comfort zone is 30 yards or less,, everything i have killed has been under 20 yards. i know of people that take long shots ,, but i don't feel comfortable doing it. its pretty much what ever you feel safe to shoot out to. most of the people i hunt with usually kill theirs under 15 yards.
