I think baiting needs to be very closely looked at in areas where disease have been found. I'd be in support of a ban in any state where CWD has been found in the past year or two.
I think baiting is just another method, one I don't find very successful on mature bucks. It'll work just fine for a fat doe, especially in the late season. Too much work for me. Other than the spread of disease, I can't see any reason why it shouldn't be allowed.
