Well....I don't buy M.A.D. calls and have thrown away all of those! Will never touch another call by M.A.D.....IMO...R crooks....

YES I use my dog whistle.....It is a late season shocker tha has worked well for me. I have not had much success in early season.
I have had my best luck right after they are up in roost and 10 minutes before dark. What I do is run the roads of private property and shock call tyring to locate as many active birds as I can. I mean I really boogey. I start with an owl.......then a duck call......and then the whislte.....I don't wait more than a few before I am off again. If they will answer iit IS because of shock! If I get one to asnwer the whislte that is what I use and will triangulate it.
