the .270 isn't really specifically designed for any set animal. By varying the bullet type and grain the .270 works great on yotes, deer, elk, bear, and moose....I personally don't own one but my buddy uses one and he has had real good success with his. 8 years old and killed 3 deer already wow when did u start hunting?
