Way to go. Glad to hear someone doing better than me. Hunted the opening day weekend. Had a chance at a tom but another hunter got him first. It was all over 15 minutes after the first gobble.

When back the next day and not a peep heard anywhere in the area by any of the hunters out there.

Plan on maybe going on the high side of Bear Island or up to Zepher Hills, Upper Hills, or Green Swamp area. Got a report of lots of turkeys in the Imokolee area, but all on private farm land, and locked out to hunters. You can drive by the feilds and see flocks of them.
