I being from Montana would make my choices by the terrain I hunt,
IMO my choices would be
1.25-06
2.7mm-08
3.260 rem
4.243 or 6mm
These calibers in about any rifle you wan't,I'm a big fan of the 25-06 and 7mm-08.
