I have a Baby Glock Model 27 for my primary CCW gun.It shoots well and is very reliable.I use a Uncle Mike's Inside the Pants holster which I can carry all day with no discomfort to speak of. I use Federal Hydra Shoks. My Glock has Trijicon Night Sights. To me the night sights are a must . Chances are if you need to use your gun for self defense it will most likely be night time.The 40S&W is a great denfense round. I personally have no use for a 9mm for defense. There has been to many stories where the 9mm wasn't enough when needed.I have never shot a Model 22 so I can't comment.I high recommend the Baby Glock.My night sights are 8 years old and still bright.
