welcome to the bowhunting board. I realy don't know what kind of setup you are using so I can't recomend a broadhead for you. Mechanicals can be deadly, but they need to be shot out of a bow producing enough Kinetic energy to provide the proper amount of penitration. Bow tuning is also critical. Mechanicals will shoot more accuratley from a poorly tuned bow than will a fixed blade head, the thier preformace will not be as good. If you bow is properly tuned, and you are shooting with at least 55 ft/lbs of KE, than I would recomend the Rocky mtn Snypers as my first choice in a mechanical head. The penitrate as well as many fixed blade heads, their blades are sharp, and they fly just like a field point. My next choice would be the New archery products shocwaves, and or rocket steel heads. Remeber all of this is provided your bow is tuned well, and you are shooting at least 55 ft/lbs of KE. If you know your arrow weight, and speed you can go to
www.bowjackson.com to find your Kinetic energy level. If you fall below 55 ft/lbs I would recomend a quality fixed blade head.
