RE: How important is it to have the right spined arrow
Over spining is always acceptable. Under spining can be hazardous to your health! I have recently been in exactly the same boat that you are in. I dropped my Ultra-Tec to 60 pounds and was using 300's. They flew just fine and grouped well. They had a horrendous paper tear, but grouped well.
My Program prefers the 200's as well. I have since switched to the new 250CXL. They seem pretty durable and fit nicely right in-between the 200-300's in spine.
Whatever you decide, its ALWAYS o.k to shoot a heavier spine.
