Like you i got into bow huntign lats year and i think it is just as fun as gun hunting. When i fish i usuallly use spinning gear because it is imposible to fish like i do in a creek that is full of snags and every possible obstacle. I fish in a stream by my house that has about a 5 foot concrete wall along it and when u hook into a huge carp wit 6 or 4 pound line u cant just pull it up u have have to fight it all the wy down to the ledge that goes into the creek. While going donw you have to around trees and stick your rod trees and all kind of stuff so fly fishing is not a possibility. Because it is surronded by trees and deep and fast. But my dad fly fishes for trout at a trout stream we go to a few times a year but I usually use spining gear there but i wont to get into fly fishing.
