I have only used the rabbit distress calls and they work well.....however in Spring, my brother swears by the fawn in distress calls. Two yrs ago we used the rabbit call with great luck!! He has his sons "training" for yote hunting now using a fawn distress call there are so many on his acreage. The yotes will come in but be a tad more cautious( Mama might be around) than they would a rabbit, but they will come in if they have not figured out your agenda. Thats what my brother tells me anyway...never used a fawn distress call so, would have to bag a yote with one to prove it worked. "Tricksters" they are....
