TFOX,

Me and a friend of mine are shooting Xtec's with the VBG rest on them, no problems whatsoever. We both shoot around 28-28 1/2", around 55lbs. No problems with flight, or accuracy.......with or without the flipper arm.

Are you guys aware that there is an all aluminum 3-d launcher for this rest? No flipper to deal with. Just put the flipper launcher back on when hunting season rolls around and shoot the 3-d target launcher for competition or whatever.

The only problem with your solution is that my main purpose for buying this rest was the flipper finger to hold my arrow in place for hunting; I could care less about 3D. Even after taking the flipper off, I still couldn't get clearance. I actually shot this rest on a Hoyt Ultra Tech bow that was shooting 300 fps and had no clearance problems, so maybe what Olink is saying has a lot of merit about the VFT bows.
