RE: self nocks, reinforced nocks?
Hey Greg, finally figured out why they are coming out slightly crooked. I cant get the dang blade to track straight!!! I am trying to set it up to rip some more strips for my canoe as I need to get the looker strips done and I am having problems with the thickness of the boards not being the same, I think I have it figured out though...anyways, I was farting around with the bandsaw last nite and my 1/4" blade looks worse then a drunk on a friday nite! I put on the 3/8ths blade and it tracks pretty nice although still a hair off. I was told it has to do with how tight I have my blade set at....darn near stopped it I had it so tight trying to see if it helped....still cant figure that one out but oh well!
