MQ1shooter, as far as obtaining advertised speeds, the only mathews I have ever oned was the original one cam that matt put on the market. I can not remember the speed I got from it. As far as others that I personally have owned, every HCA and Hoyt has achieved the advertised speeds.
I do agree with you, that manufacturers should not publish what they cannot produce.
One thing to remember though, not all people can set up a bow to achieve full potential. When bow manufacturers publish their speeds, they certainly are NOT talking about using brass nocksets, or big hunting peeps with rubber bands attached.
