It depends on the deer really in some cases the customers had to only apply once,some every 3 to 4 weeks and its also good for those damn rabbits. and with the Tree guard the only time you have to reapply is when you get a heavy rain. I had a customer one time that had over 3 dozen tulip bulbs and the deer was eating them and he used the treeguard and after the first time they bit into them they pretty much left them alone.
