I think you hit it on the head.
Some folks like to clean their guns until they are absolutely clean to where they are like there has never been a shot though them.

Other folks like me are happy with clean enough, clean patch through the bore. White patch comes out white.

Other folks just don't worry about it. As long as the rifle is shooting ok leave it alone.

For the folks in the last two groups you will find Wipe-Out to be a great labor saver and it will get your rifle clean to your standards.
For the folks in the first group , where nothing but absolutely spotless is acceptable, it will also save you a lot of scrubbing and work.

However judging from solitary mans report you folks in the first group may need to do some final touch up to really get it spotless.
