noway, having used two cans of Wipeout now, I don't find it to be a substitute for brushing. A good brushing will remove additional fouling that Wipeout and a patch alone will not. I use Wipeout now strictly as a copper solvent. Have you actually tried brushing the bore after using Wipeout to see if fouling is still present? I've done it 3 or 4 times and there was enough fouling still present in the barrel to make me go back to using the brush.
