Default RE: mole/groundhog hunting?

for beavers look for freshly downed treesand trails leading to the water
make sure the stump of the trees are still moist and follow the trails to water. take some freshly cut poplar, cut the poplar in 2 pieces each 1 foot long and strip the bark off. For traps take a #3 colspring of double longspring. try to find their castor mounds (they stink so there not that hard to find)
level off a little ledge for the trap to sit on and then set the trap on the ledge. Make sure the trap is staked REALLY good. then set the pieces of the poplar above the trap so when the beaver comes out of the water to investigate the poplar he will step in the trap.

Good luck
